Versant is a multi-residential development in Bankview that offers new housing options to support nearby local businesses and reinforce the transition of 14 ST SW into a livable, pedestrian-friendly Main Street.
This 5-storey, 66-unit building finds itself among an amenity-rich, walkable and well-connected inner-city context. Versant joins a swell of new developments that are efficiently using existing infrastructure to enable continued development along this important corridor.
The building's design features a unique, slope-adaptive form to respond to a challenging site grade, while also stepping back its massing to allow appropriate transitions to its neighbours.
The pedestrian is kept top of mind, with a human-scale design featuring ground-level residential entryways, a variety of high-quality building materials and additional landscaping along 15 ST SW. By activating and improving the streetscape, bringing new housing options, and capitalizing on the area's high walkability, Versant aims to further establish Bankview as a vibrant and eclectic community.
